The Missing Children

This ECPM policy paper discusses the increasing numbers of unaccompanied refugee minors who go missing and addresses the fact that relevant legal as well as policy instruments to further protect them from exploitation are still needed.

The aim of this study is to call upon and EU authorities to commit themselves to identify the missing unaccompanied refugee children, offer adequate assistance and strengthen the policies aimed at children tracing and family reunification.
