We pray for Turkey and Syria

A couple of devastating earthquakes struck central Turkey and northwest Syria, killing more than 5,000 people and injuring over 20,000.

An unknown number of people are believed to still be trapped under the debris and intense rescue efforts are underway. The European Union, the UN and various other organizations mobilized quickly in sending aid, rescue workers and equipment to the affected areas.

We are heartbroken to hear so many people have lost their lives and fervently pray for a swift rescue for those caught under the debris. We extend our sympathy and condolences to everyone impacted by this disaster.  It is immensely encouraging to see so many countries, organizations and people coming together to help and provide relief and we hope these efforts will be fruitful and lives will be saved.
