ECPM's Spitzenkandidat will participate in the Maastricht Debate

For the first time in ECPM’s history, the party will be represented at a European Spitzenkandidat debate coming up on Monday April 29 in Maastricht, by ECPM President and lead candidate Valeriu Ghilețchi. This event marks a highlight in the growth ECPM is experiencing.

The debate will feature lead candidates from almost all European political parties, among them current president of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and Nicolas Schmit- current Commissioner for Jobs and Social Rights. The key topics of discussion will be climate change, foreign and security policy, and EU democracy. The evening will be moderated by journalists Barbara Moens and Marcia Luyten.
