A resolution re-emphasizing that ECPM will pursue policies that will mainstream the reality, values and virtues of Christendom on local, regional, national and European level has been endorsed by our members during the 14th General Assembly of ECPM on the 23rd of May 2017.
The resolution, tabled by ECPM MEP Marek Jurek on behalf of his national member party Prawica Rzeczypospolitej, stresses that the Treaty of the European Union mentions that the "religious inheritance of Europe" is the vivid inspiration for our nations as well as the fundament of our institutions. Knowing this, political forces in Europe attempt to remove or neglect these values. Since this could lead to a breach of justice and freedom, MEP Jurek's resolution firmly states that ECPM will pursue policies that will mainstream the reality, values and virtues of Christendom on a local, regional, national and European level and in all institutions in which the Movement is active.
On the 23rd of May 2017 during the ECPM General Assembly in Warsaw, Poland, MEP Marek Jurek presented this resolution on behalf of ECPM member party Prawica Rzeczypospolitej (Right of the Republic). The ECPM members have voted in favour of this resolution. The full text of the resolution is available below this article.

ECPM Resolution on Christendom Mainstreaming - Tabled by Marek Jurek, Right of the Republic, Poland
Accepted during the ECPM General Assembly on 23 May 2017, in Warsaw, Poland
The European Christian Policital Movement:
Considering that the values of Christendom, by which are meant not only the teachings of Jesus Christ and the common cultural roots of the nations of Europe but also the reality of Christian life in Europe, are a universal and essential element of Europe’s common good.
Considering that according to the Treaty of the European Union, the ‘religious inheritance of Europe’ is the vivid inspiration for our nations as well as the fundament of our institutions.
Being aware of attempts by political forces in Europe to remove or neglect these values that could lead to a breach of justice, freedom, common good and eventually democracy itself.
Emphasises that the right to life from conception to natural death and the right of parents to raise their children in accordance with their religious and moral convictions are the inviolable part of the reality of Christendom.
Firmly states that it will pursue policies that will mainstream the reality, values and virtues of Christendom on local, regional, national and European level and in all institutions in which the Movement is active.
