On the 4th of September, ECPM President MEP Branislav Skripek cohosted a conference in the European Parliament with the title "Co-existence exists". The conference presented the common work of Israelis and Palestinians in Judea and Samaria (an area known as the West Bank).
Branislav Skripek, a member of the of the “Group of Friends of Judea and Samaria in the European Parliament”, highlighted in his speech the uneasy coexistence of members of both peoples and criticized the European policy that is "Hiding behind ambiguous notions of European diplomacy gives rise to extremist movements like BDS, which act against local business projects. They employ tens of thousands of Palestinians, and not at all with up to three times the wages paid by the Palestinian administration. These facts should not go unnoticed. " The other invited speakers focused on informing about the existing positive cooperation and cohabitation of Muslims, Christians and Jews on the territory of Judea and Samaria. Their data provided new insights on this topic, which is often unilaterally and simplified in the media. At the end of the conference, important guests signed a memorandum welcoming and confirming the significance of the Judeo and Samaria Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
