With a majority of votes, Valeriu Ghileţchi from Moldova (President of the Academy for Integrity in Leadership) has been elected President of the ECPM for the next mandate. He has a rich political experience as former member of the Moldovan Parliament and member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

"I am humbled by this honor you have given me and commit to serving ECPM to the best of my abilities, by God's grace", said Mr. Ghileţchi after the announcement of the results.

In addition, two new board members were appointed to the vacant seats: Leon Meijer (member of ChristenUnie, The Netherlands) and Michal Považan (member of Kresťanská únia, Slovakia). Both are deeply involved in the work of their parties at local and national levels, highly qualified, and passionate individuals about furthering Christian values in European society.
